Maya’s editorial work focuses on non-profit events and awareness. Maya is a double legacy and graduate of Jack and Jill of America, Pasadena chapter.
During her time at USC, Maya covered non-profit events including, but not limited to:
- WordTheatre: T.C. Boyle (Stories I & Stories II) & Johnny Simmons (The Perks of Being a Wallflower & The Stanford Prison Experiment) at Sohohouse WeHo
- 2015 Covenant House All-Star Mixology contest at Skybar Mondrian
- 2015 No Kid Hungry Campaign Dinner at the Beverly Wilshire
Maya currently volunteers as a blogger and social media strategist for non-profit organizations such as: Be The Match and No Kid Hungry.
